Mushfiq and Spinner Led Bangladesh to a long-awaited victory over India

Bangladesh cricket team came to India without Shakib Al Hasan. However, as a team, they played brilliantly to cover up Shakib’s presence. The most satisfying prospect from the Bangladesh team they looked really focused right from the word go. To be precise, they looked very desperate as a team to grab every little moment that was on offer.

After winning the toss, Mahamuudlah chooses to field very wisely. They did very well as a bowling unit to restrain India in the first 10 overs. Both of the pacers Shafiul & Al Amin started very well.

While spinners also did very well to make sure the pressure is on. Rookie spinner Aminul Islam took 2 wickets in his 3 overs quota to make the Indian middle-order under pressure. As a result, they failed to stand tall. The pacers & spinner’s combined effort helped Bangladesh to restrict India by 148 runs.

In the chase, Bangladesh lost Liton Das cheaply. But young Mohammed Naim and Soumya Sarker held together to steady the ship of Bangladesh. The pitch was very tricky right from the beginning of the match. But Bangladesh did very well as a batting unit to rotate the strike at regular intervals.

However, Naim fell to Chahal to clearing him in the deep mid-wicket region. Mushfiq took the responsibility on his shoulder to hand a Bangladesh magnificent win over India, after 4 long years. Moreover, he scored 60 runs 43 balls, with the help of 1 sixes and 8 fours, with a strike rate of almost 140. Although he was lucky enough to escape three times, who cares. 

Now, Bangladesh had a really good opportunity to beat India in the T20I series for the first time. But as a superior team, India will try their level best to bounce back. Bangladesh needs to stay strong as a team in the next matches to make history.
