3.Nidahas Trophy Final (2018):

This was arguably one of the most thrilling matches between Bangladesh vs India so far. You can’t ask for more in a final match like this. Anybody could have won the game amongst the two. But India holds their nerves well. Bangladesh scored 166/8 runs which were quite defensible.

But after such a lurid match, India managed to make it. In the end, they needed 34 off 12 deliveries. Dinesh Karthik is almost single-handedly achieved that target with a stunning 29* off 8 balls. A great rivalry & a great win, which enhances the glorification of cricket history indeed.

4.25th match of World Cup T20 (2016):

This is another thrilling match that happened between these two teams. India snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in the last over. India scored 146/7 in 20 overs after batting first. Bangladeshi bowlers did a magnificent job by restricting them within a limited score.

Bangladesh’s batsmen were doing well to keep the team in the contest. In the last over they needed to score 11 runs off 6 deliveries. With back to back boundaries, Mushfiqur Rahim made it easier. Bangladesh needed only 2 runs off 3 balls. Unfortunately, batsmen couldn’t hold nerves till the end & get dismissed by clever schemes of the Indian bowlers.

5.Bangladesh vs India ODI series (2015):

Such an exciting & dominating ODI series win by Bangladesh against India in Mirpur. Especially the second match of the series retained all the excitement till the end. India did the batting first & after some jiffy of rain the target stood up 200runs off 47 overs for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh launched their first bilateral series win against India through winning the match by 6 wickets. Mustafizur Rahman was the hero of that day, cutting through India with a 6 wicket haul to add to his five on debut. A day to remember for Bangladeshi cricket fans indeed.

Conclusion

Cricket rivalries are exciting because they don’t dictate by statistics but rather defined by emotions. India vs Pakistan rivalries is known as one of the best rivalries in cricket history so far. In the past, the match between India and Pakistan is considered as the most energizing encounter of cricket.

But nowadays Indo-Pak match does produce a rather one-sided affair. Where India seems to be the dominant over Pakistan most of the time. But Pakistan has never beaten India at the World Cup in seven matches.
